Shankar Saikia has extensive experience as a solution architect working with sales representatives of enterprise software (supply chain, customer relationship management (CRM) and financial planning). Shankar is an active user and student of social tools such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube. His background includes roles in product management, implementation consulting and solution sales of both on-premise and on-demand cloud-based software delivered as a service (SAAS). With his knowledge of the high tech hardware, semiconductors, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, retail, media and publishing sectors Shankar brings an industry-perspective to business technology solutions. Shankar's experience in software solutions includes stints at large corporations (Oracle, Netsuite and PriceWaterhouseCoopers), small companies (Extricity and Icarian) as well as his own startups (The Baxley Group and Highlander Systems). Shankar graduated from Stanford University in 1990 with BA and MA degrees in Economics.
